Brixx Mini Beer Dinner

Brixx had a mini beer dinner last week so Trey and I decided to give it a try and Kristen and Ryan joined us for dinner! It was $21 for three courses and three 7-ounce beers.

Our first course was cheddar ale soup. It was good, but nothing to write home about. Served with New Belgium Fat Tire.

The second course was optional (you could get the salad or the dessert) so we got 1 to split and it's a good thing because it was huge! Pear and gorgonzola salad... serioulsy delicious. Served with Pumpkick! Yay pumpkin beer.
We had pizza for our main course paired with Ranger IPA. It was followed up by splitting the fourth course, tiramissu. It was good but we were pretty full by then!
Overall the beer dinner was pretty tasty and well priced. The timing of the dishes coming out wasn't the best. I was only halfway through my first beer and soup when the salad and second beers arrived. But it wasn't an entire restaurant of beer dinner (you could choose to just order off the menu) so I'm sure the kitchen was kind of crazy.
