One Pan Lasagna

I found this recipe on pinterest and was excited that it only involved ONE PAN! Less of a mess to clean up, yes please!

What You Need:
1 pound of ground beef (she gave the option of using italian sausage but to make it more like lasagna I used beef)
1/2 a medium onion, diced
2 teaspoons minced garlic
28 oz can of crushed or diced tomatoes
1 8 oz can of tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
18 oz of ravioli (she called for the refrigerated kind, I already had a 24 oz package in the freezer that I used)
8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

What You Do:
Sautee onions and garlic, over medium heat, until onions are soft. Add beef and brown.
*In another pan we began cooking the frozen ravioli in a bit of olive oil just so they weren't frozen when we added them. You could also just thaw them before hand if you use frozen.
Once beef is cooked through, add tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, and ravioli.
Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer over medium heat.
Simmer until ravioli are tender and sauce has reduced and thickened, 15-20 minutes
Remove from heat and stir in mozzarella and parmesan.
