My parents went cross country in the RV this summer. Trey had to go to California for a couple of weeks in July so we decided that I would meet him out there towards the end, for my birthday. Conveniently mom and dad were going to be around Yellowstone just before I went to California, so I flew to Bozeman, MT to meet them and we spent a few days exploring Yellowstone! We stayed near Bozeman in a campground and drove to the entrance in Gardiner (about an hour away) each day.

Petrified tree - this tree was petrified the last time that Yellowstone volcano erupted!
It was over 1000 years ago!

We saw many buffalo. And sat through a couple of traffic jams because they wanted to cross the road to get to the river!
