I got this delicious recipe from my friend Jennifer. I never thought I would have liked spinach lasagna but it is amazing!
What You Need:
2 jars Bertolli Marinara (Olive oil, basil & garlic)
2 eggs
2 cups cottage cheese
1/2 tsp salt
2 bags fresh spinach (~10 oz)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
8 oz mozzarella cheese
8 lasagna noodles
What You Do:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13x9 baking dish. Heat a couple of tablespoons of water in a pan and cook the spinach.
In a medium bowl, beat the eggs and combine them with cottage cheese, salt, spinach and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
Spread marinara on the bottom of the baking dish (about 1/2 to 2/3 cup). Place 4 uncooked noodles over the sauce, spread half the spinach mixture, half the mozzarella cheese and half the marinara. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
Top with the remaining parmesan cheese.
Cover dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour. Let it stand for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.

State Silhouette Art DIY
I saw this post on Home Sweet Ruby and just had to do one myself! I changed it up a little bit and luckily didn't have to cut it by hand since I have my handy dandy silhouette cameo machine.
Backing card stock/scrap book paper
card stock/scrap book paper for your state
Pink or white paper for heart
frame
scissors or cutting machine
glue stick
What You Do:
Cut card stock down to size of the frame (I used an old 8x10 frame we had lying around)
Cut state silhouette (If you don't have a cutting machine you can use Home Sweet Ruby's directions - basically print out the state to the size you want and use it to trace then cut by hand, If you do have a silhouette, I googled North Carolina state silhouette and found a pdf that I could download for the image then trace the outer edge only... I found mine here, this would work for either cutting by hand or silhouette)
Cut a small heart and place over the city of your choice
Glue all pieces together and stick in a frame!
This cost me all of $1.47 and I have cardstock to spare! Love it!
BFF Lake Weekend 2014
Last weekend was BFF Lake Weekend II. Here is last years.
Friday night we relaxed on the porch, played with Tipsy and ate FBGs.
Saturday we played with Tipsy's laser light, the hose and went out on the boat.
Saturday night we grilled out and then took the boat to the Rusty Rudder. We basically enjoyed drinking out free (well already paid for) beer on the dock and went inside to dominate the claw machine for a bit.
Hilarious picture

Dominating the claw machine
Winning!
While hanging out on the dock we discovered that we were creating shadows on the boat next to us. We had a hilarious time creating shadows on the boat for about an hour.
