Nashville: Panthers beat the Titans & more fun!

The away Panthers game that Trey & I decided to go to this year was in Nashville, to watch the Panthers play the Titans. (Last year we watched the Panthers beat the Falcons in Atlanta).

We decided to drive so that we could stop at Jack Daniels distillery along the way. It is about an hour or so southeast of Nashville. We left on Thursday after work and stayed the night in Boone, at my aunt's cabin, to break up the drive. Along our drive we saw a sign for George Dickel distillery and decided to stop there too.

Jack Daniels was huge and amazing. We took the tour and learned some history about Jack and the company.

They have 80+ of these barrel houses all around town.

This is the rickyard - where they burn the ricks to create charcoal.

The spring water that they use to brew.

After the tour we headed to Nashville. We stayed in an airbnb with 2 other couples. It was walking distance to the stadium!

Free jager stuff!

Saturday morning we were lucky to be a part of one of the couples engagement. After breakfast at the Pancake Pantry (with the longest line ever) we headed to the gorgeous church that her parents got married at years ago, and he proposed in front of it!

We went out on the town that night and saw many other Panthers fans out!

The weather was gorgeous and the game was wonderful! We won and became 9-0!

The last last year in my 20s!

My birthday was back in July and we celebrated all day long! It was great.

Started off by Trey making me breakfast. While he cleaned up I got to sit on my porch and enjoy our new TV!

Then we went to Trophy Brewing for lunch. Kristen and Ryan met us there because they were leaving town after that so they couldn't join for the rest of the festivities. Matt and Lindsey joined us there, it was also Lindsey's birthday so we celebrated together! Chad met us for lunch also and joined for the mid day fun.

After lunch we went to Sub Noir brewery. We weren't too impressed but they did have Nintendo games!

Then we went to Nickelpoint Brewery. They had lots of games to keep us entertained, like huge Jenga.

From there we headed back to our house to have friends over for a cookout. When we got home we discovered that my parents snuck over while we were gone and decorated for my birthday.

Christy, Jonathan and Connor even managed to make a brief appearance! What a great friend to come out with her newborn :)

And what better way to end the day than with a pinata!

Random Spring Fun

Just some random phone pictures I have of the last couple of months:

We moved the garden from this fence to the front/side yard in front of the parking pad so that it gets better sun, it is really starting to take off

Dinner and drinks downtown at Moe's Diner

Brenna and Loyd came to town for a wedding and stayed with us, to Tipsy and Tyson got to play:

Vegas and I got to visit with baby Emaline:

We enjoyed drinks on a gorgeous day at Raleigh Brewing Company:

We took care of Bailey and Speckles for a few nights while Christy and Jonathan were out of town. Lap dogs!

I made a delicious dessert for a cookout at Andy's house. I'll post the recipe soon!

Trey updated the kegerator to insulate the tubing to the taps better. We added chalkboard vinyl so that we can label the taps:

We kept Little Man for a week while Trey's parents traveled. He loves to cuddle.

Game night at Buckley and Jeans... hanging out with Mr. Pickles

Went to Wilson for dinner at the BeefMastor for Sadler's birthday. It was ah-maz-ing!

Durham Bulls game!
