Kat & Sadler's Wedding Weekend

Last weekend we spent the weekend in Pinetops for Kat & Sadler's wedding. The entire weekend was amazing. Katherine and her family spent so much time and energy building, creating and preparing for their backyard farm wedding. I was seriously amazed at how awesome it turned out. I can't wait to see the professional pictures since my iPhone pics sure didn't capture just how beautiful it was!
The cotton surrounds their house... so cool!

Friday night was the rehearsal (Trey was one of Sadler's groomsmen) and after rehearsal there was a pig pickin, drinks and a dj so we could dance the night away.

 Decorated with tobacco!

 YUM

We all crashed there at Katherine's parents house and woke up Saturday morning to help put on the finishing touches. Seriously, I walked downstairs and there was a bucket lift in the backyard being used to hang lighting from the tree. There were friends and relatives prepping everything and we tried to help the best we could :)
Lots of prep work being done

 Hanging the wreath

My input... help lay the tablecloths!

After that I headed out with the boys to go shoot skeet. I had never shot a gun before but they taught me how. I hit the skeet the first time I tried! It was exhilarating.

Sadler & his groomsmen

Trey and I headed to the hotel to check in for Saturday night and take a quick power nap. His nap didn't last long because he had to head back to the house to get ready and take bridal party pictures. Luckily I didn't have to be ready yet so I got to rest a little while longer and head over in a couple of hours :)

It was misting a little bit as we sat and waited for the bridal party to walk down the isle but it stopped just in time for them to come out. The backdrop was gorgeous and all of the planning and hard work paid off, it was beautiful!

 You may kiss your bride!

After the wedding we danced the night away... they had a band for the reception and then a dj for the after party and luckily had a shuttle to get us back to the hotel!

It was seriously the most fun wedding weekend with a great group of people.

My Best Friend's Wedding

Kristen got married last weekend in Beaufort. It was a perfect weekend. The weather was amazing all weekend and everything went smoothly.

Friday we had the bridal party luncheon at Sprouter's Inn on the water front in Beaufort. Then me and the other bridesmaids went shopping to decide what necklaces to wear for the wedding. Turns out we had everything we needed in our own jewelry bags :)

We checked in to our hotel... it was gorgeous! We stayed at the Inlet Inn on the waterfront and the views were amazing.

We had rehearsal at 5 and then rehearsal dinner followed at Beaufort Grocery Co.
Dinner was delicious and the speeches in honor of Kristen and Ryan were that night. I was so glad to only give my maid of honor speech in front of about 30 people instead of 130 :) I still got a little teary eyed talking about my bestie.

After dinner there was a cocktail party in the garden behind Beaufort Grocery... it was an awesome night. Jonathan played while everyone enjoyed drinks and socialized. Gorgeous night!

Kristen was the least bridezilla bride I have ever met!! Saturday she didn't care what we did, we just needed to meet up at 4:00 to get ready! Amazing. So Trey and I headed back to his parents' house where my parents and some friends were. We all spent a few hours on the beach during the day. It was a super relaxing weekend.

I headed back to the hotel to get myself cleaned up before heading to get ready with all of the girls.

We had a private trolley to take us from the hotel down to the Boat House at Front Street Village. It was so cute and exciting. We hoped right off the trolley to walk down the isle. The weather was still amazing, warm but a slight breeze and the ceremony was perfect.

The photographer took some pictures that I can't wait to see and then we headed upstairs to join the party. There were food stations and a dance floor outside.

At the end of the wedding we were supposed to send them off with sparklers but they went missing, so the wedding planner thought quickly and took the bridesmaids' bouquets and used the petals... it was really pretty actually!

Then they hopped on the trolley with us to take us all back in to downtown Beaufort. The newlyweds even headed to the Dockhouse with us to celebrate with a few more drinks!

The weekend couldn't have gone any better!
