51. We went to Busch Gardens in October for their "Hallo-Scream," we have gone a few times and it is a lot of fun!
52. Halloween weekend we went to a 311 show at the new ampitheater in downtown Raleigh. It was awesome!
53. Since working full time, planning a wedding and being in grad school weren't enough to do, we decided to get Vegas a sibling :) We wanted a boy boxer so we searched and searched and this is what we found:
54. My best friend, Christy, and I went to get Tyson on Christmas Eve, while Trey was working. He was not much over 4 pounds and the cutest little baby you have ever seen. He cried for a while on the way home but it got better.
55. He HATED his crate at first and just screamed bloody murder for hours upon hours, so the first night we had him (Christmas Eve) we stayed at my parents and they were already in love with him, they took him out of the crate and he slept with them on the couch.
56. Christmas morning Vegas got a new bed that quickly became a shared new bed. Tyson loved it. It had padded sides and I think it reminded him of laying on the puppy pile. Vegas was a great mommy to him and showed him the ropes. Once we put this bed in the crate, he didn't mind it at all. Vegas loves the crate, and got in there with him, so he adjusted well.
57. We attempted to take dance lessons before the wedding. We went to a few to learn some moves, but didn't want an entire choreographed routine (nor did we want to pay for that). I grew up dancing, and figured that I would be the one who knew what was going on on our wedding day. WRONG. After a pretty stressful morning, by the time we got to our first dance my brain was just fried and I was just so happy to be dancing with my hubby that I basically forgot what we were doing. It went fine, but Trey was totally leading while I'm saying "I don't have a clue what to do!!" He sure does take care of me.
58. The first weekend of March my maid of honor, Christy, and her husband threw us a "Stock the Bar" Shower. We wanted a "couples" type shower, not just a girly shower. It was great. It was basically a party with a few games and present opening. I just love having a reason to get all of our friends together!
59. For Trey's birthday we went to Darlington to the truck race. We drove there, and had seats in the "luxury boxes" aka an indoor building where you are served dinner and drinks. It was a pretty cool experience. We go to go inside the track during the day and back to their garage areas.
60. March, 2011 was a fun-filled month. The next weekend, one of my bridesmaid's, Brenna, and my aunt threw me a bridal shower! My aunt from Philadelphia was able to come down and we had a great group of family and friends there. It was nice to have a "girly" shower. It was a "honeymoon" shower - I got great gifts to prepare me for the beach, we got donations towards adventures on our honeymoon and lots of fun stuff.
61. The last weekend in March we went on our bachelor and bachelorette parties! I headed to Las Vegas with 7 great friends and Trey headed to Myrtle Beach with the guys. We had so much fun in Vegas. We went out to a club until like 3 or 4 in the morning and just danced all night!
62. On Friday, April 15th we headed to Benson, NC to the Preson Woodall House for our weekend adventure. Our wedding weekend was a mini getaway. We rented a house for the girls and a house for the guys of the bridal party, a house for Trey's family and my parents brought their RV!
63. Our rehearsal dinner was more fun than some people's weddings! Great food, drinks, family and best friends - what more do you need? We partied late into the night, I fell asleep at the boy's house (along with other bridesmaids) and woke up a couple hours later realizing I needed to go back home... can't see my future hubby until the wedding!
64. April 16th, 2011 I married my best friend. No sun, no power? No problem! Tornadoes didn't stop us! It was the best night, I truly don't remember ever having that much fun. All of the people we loved in one place, celebrating our love - perfect!!
65. If you have been living under a rock for the past year and didn't know, record breaking tornados swept through the area on April 16th. We lost power around 4:30 and the ceremony was supposed to be at 5:00! The power stayed off for a couple of hours, but the show went on! Here are the blog posts that tell the whole story.
66. We spent our wedding night... at OUR HOUSE! Our hotel downtown didn't have power or running water, so our driver just brought us home! He was very sweet and did offer to find us another hotel, but we said that we had a house on the side of town that wasn't hit as badly, so just take us home! (Plus it was like 1 am at this point)
66. We had brunch the day after at OUR HOUSE! It was supposed to be at Tir Na Nog, downtown, but they still didn't have power! I ran out to the store and grabbed all kinds of foods, and our family came by to hang out. It was a nice perk, our family got to see our (still new to us) house, since some lived far away and hadn't been by yet.
67. We went on a honeymoon to St. Thomas for a week - it was the best week ever. We explored different parts of the island, went sailing, laid on the beach, and were so relaxed by the end of the week, it was so hard to come home.
68. We came home to our typical family Easter celebration. We always celebrate easter with our easter baskets and chocolate candies, we even had an easter egg hunt up until a couple of years ago! This time the big hit was the dog's easter toys and watching them get so excited and so protective over their new toys.
69. Our amazing vet gave us a "wedding present." She neutered Tyson for free! He had a hernia when he was younger, so we were afraid that would be an issue we would have to deal with when he was neutered, and we felt much more comfortable having her do the surgery than PetSmart (we used them for his 1st year because their puppy plan is a great deal for all of their shots, but as a vet I'm not a huge fan... we still went to Dr. Sagris with any major concerns). She is a mobile vet and uses laser techonolgy (only one in the area) so not only was his surgery in our driveway (in her office on wheels) but because of the laser he didn't have to have stitches, aka NO CONE OF SHAME! YAY!
70. On our honeymoon we used some of our wedding gift money to buy each other jewelry gifts. Trey loves to haggle and that's what you do in the Virgin Islands! He got a watch and I got a new band for my diamond that matches my wedding band! We both stared at them for hours :)
71. We have slowly made "improvements" to our house and made it our own! We added built in bookshelves when we first moved in, a shed in the backyard, granite counters in the kitchen, fixed the patio out back (although it needs to be fixed again as we had an irrigation explosion under it!) and many more little projects. It is starting to really be our home now, I can't believe we've been here almost 2 years!
72. This is my 4th year, and counting, at Leesville Road High School! Sometimes the kids drive me nuts, but I love my job :)
73. In June, 2011 Trey started working at the Hasentree Club, in Wake Forest. It is gorgeous. It's not too far away from us but feels like it is out in the country, that's his kind of place. This was a very happy move and he is loving it!
74. In 12 days, it will be our 1 year anniversary!!
75. I guess this has turned in to the "Trey and Christy Story!" And that's about it! Stay tuned tomorrow for the last 25 RANDOM facts about us!

26. The summer before Trey graduated he did another internship on a golf course, this time in Scottsdale, Arizona for about 3 months.
27. I went to visit him 3 times while he was out there. Arizona was beautiful. He lived in Phoenix along with 5 other guys doing the internship and they drove to work about 30 minutes away up on a mountain, where it was MUCH cooler.
28. One night when we were heading out in Phoenix it was over 100 degrees at 10 pm.
29. For my birthday we drove from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. This was one of the most fun road trips ever.
30. One of the many things I love about our relationship is going on adventures, and other than the hotel we had for 2 nights at the Grand Canyon, we had nothing else planned - figuring it out as we went!
31. We stopped in Sedona to see the Red Rocks and hiked Red Rock State Park. It's gorgeous out there.
32. The Grand Canyon was amazing. We hiked down just over 3 miles and then back up. Coming back up was hell. But it was such an awesome experience.
33. I didn't enjoy basically living by myself while Trey was gone so Vegas and I stayed at my parents' most of the summer. This is when they fell madly in love with her :)
34. While Trey was gone I found an apartment for us to move into and moved before he got home :) He left the decision making up to me. Luckily my brother and his old "roommate" Greg helped move our stuff! This apartment was back to back with my old roommate Kristen, and down the road from my college roommates Mariah and Brenna, and Mariah's boyfriend Greg and his roommates lived in the complex also!
35. For Thanksgiving 2009 we used the flight vouchers (that we got in #15) to go to Las Vegas! I had been once with my family but it was so fun to go with Trey.
36. We played Rapid Roulette like it was going out of style. And got lots of free drinks while doing it!
37. In the winter of 2010 we started house hunting, looking in Cary (near where Trey was working) and North Raleigh
38. We went to Las Vegas (again!) in March 2010, for 311 day (March 11th), with my brother and some of his friends.
38. On April 23rd, 2010 we bought our first house together!
39. In May 2010 we went with my parents to the Southern 500 in Darlington, and stayed in the RV inside the track! This is becoming a tradition. Trey's parents go too and stay outside, so we get to hang out with them during the day!
40. Trey fell asleep on top of the RV during the race. My dad cleaned everything off the top and Trey woke up to the haulers gone, nothing/no one on the top of the RVs!
41. July 23rd, 2010 we went out to dinner at Kanki (where we went on our first "official" date) for my birthday. My birthday is the 25th but that was a Sunday and Trey was having to work long hours at work, so we celebrated early.
42. We came back to our (new to us, still!) house so Trey could give me my presents. He came to the couch with champange and no presents. As I am thinking what in the world, I thought I was getting my presents he got down on one knee!
43. I did get my present... a big, huge beautiful ring, and a fiance! The perfect proposal - at our new house, just us and Vegas :)
44. Vegas was super excited to get in on the celebrating.
45. Trey had "gone to get my present" earlier that day, aka go ask my dad's permission.
46. Before going to ask my dad's permission he called the house to talk to him, getting my mom VERY curious. I'm pretty sure she was able to weasle the information out of my dad, because that night when I called my mom to tell her the news she was about to burst at the seams and conviently out shopping nearby and wanted to stop by. They came by to celebrate with us and she just so happened to already have "W" napkins and coasters for us.
47. I used our underwater camera to take pictures with some of my best girlfriends at the pool the next day. My hubby was so thoughtful, part of the reason for celebrating/getting my "birthday present" early was that Allison was coming in to town (from NYC) and we were all going to the pool the next day, so I could celebrate with them!
48. We were already having a housewarming party the next weekend, so we also used it to celebrate our engagement!
49. My aunt invited my mom and I to come up to Philadelphia and she would take us wedding dress shopping! I have always gone up to visit my aunt and uncle & go shopping with her, she is a great shopping partner and deal finder.
50. About 2 hours in to the search I found the dress!! So we were able to spend the rest of the weekend looking for my moms dress - a success also!

We have officially blogged 100 posts, so you know what that means! Okay maybe you don't, so let me explain. On your 100th blog post, you are supposed to post 100 things about your life. I am going to split it up 25 at a time, so you don't want to poke your eyes out by the end of this! Plus I'll be busy in Disney World and not blogging about other stuff this week!
1. Trey went to ECU for 2.5 years, he only applied there because one of his good friends did. Then his friend decided not to go, but he went anyways! He transferred to NCSU after 2.5 years.
2. He went to NCSU for 3 years and graduated from there. So we pull for the pirates and the wolfpack, unless of course they are playing each other!
3. I applied to pretty much every public UNC System school in NC. I didn't really know what I wanted to do/where I wanted to go. As soon as I got accepted to NCSU, I knew that's where I wanted to go. It hit me.
4. I decided I wanted to be a teacher about a week after the Teaching Fellows scholarship applications were due. Great timing. Not.
5. Trey majored in the IT field at ECU.
6. When he filled out his application to transfer to State he was interested in the golf field and accidentally applied for the professional golf management program. They contacted him to ask about his handicap and he switched his application to turfgrass science. He now works as management on a golf course.
7. We met through one of my best friends, Kristen.
8. My senior year of college the three of us were like the three musketeers.
9. Trey and I were really good friends at first, not interested in a relationship, but couldn't deny our connection. (cheesy enough?)
10. He finally kissed me in a taxicab on the way home one night :)
11. At the beginning of our relationship my nickname for him was Sexyface (made up by a friend actually when we went bowling one night). I think it's accurate still.
12. For spring break of my senior year we went on a trip with friends to Tortola (British Virgin Islands). It was one of the most fun vacations I have ever taken.

13. We went sailing with these awesome older men that we met at our resort, surfing and snorkeling.
14. Trey found a starfish when we went snorkeling! But put it back of course.
15. On our flight back from Tortola we got stuck in NYC during our layover. Trey had never been there. The flight was overbooked and they needed people to give up their seats and they would recieve a flight voucher. I have always wanted to be able to do that and get a voucher, and we had the time!
16. We took advantage of that, got a hotel and went in to the city the next day before our flight! We had barely anything with us, as our luggage was on it's way to Raleigh. We went up the empire state building, even though it was foggy, since Trey had never been there.
17. We got stuck again. That flight was canceled because of intense winds in Raleigh. So we stayed the night again! But made it home the next day :)
18. That summer I was planning to live with Kristen at the beach and wait tables (in between graduating and starting teaching in August). Trey's parents live at the same beach and he went there for the summer to do an internship on the golf course they live on. We were excited to be able to spend the summer together.
19. Kristen had to go to "rock camp" (she's a geologist now!) for the first month of the summer, but I wanted to go on down and start making money. My original plan was to stay with Trey for 3-4 days and work, then come back to Raleigh for 3-4 days. Well a) gas was almost $4/gallon then and I drove a Wrangler, b) the money was nice working c) the restaurant likes to just schedule you whenever they want and d) I was playing house with my boyfriend.. why leave!
20. Well Kristen made it back to the beach and I was supposed to move over to her house along with our friend Amanda, but it was 3 girls and 2 bedrooms, and I just ended up staying at Trey's all summer :)
21. That was one of the most amazing summers ever. I got to know my future in-laws really well, lived at the beach, got sun during the day, made money at night and hung out with my best friends every day. Kristen, Amanda, Trey and I all worked at the Channel Marker. It was a blast.
22. When we came back to Raleigh Trey and I got seperate apartments, not wanting to rush things. That was basically a waste of money. He and Vegas stayed with me every night. He had a roommate at the apartment that he rented that was in the same situation with his girlfriend. The four of us would occasionally go grill out at their apartment and joke about how that was a $500 dinner.
23. I graduated from NCSU in May of 2008 and started teaching at Leesville in August 2008.
24. Trey was still in school but started working on a golf course in town to get some experience.
25. He graduated in December 2009 from NCSU!
