Tyson is 1!

I can't believe my 4 pound puppy is already 1!! He has been a blast over the last year. He is such a snuggler, very curious, VERY hyper but then can be very sleepy! He loves his sister more than anything. He has had a few bad puppy teething/bored instances but nothing too crazy. He has such a goofy, crazy personality and has made our lives very interesting :)

Happy birthday to my baby boy.

Here are some of my favorite pictures over the last year:

So in love with Vegas
Eat, play, snuggle. That's all he does!
And just to show you how tiny my baby was... here is little man (chihuahua maltese mix) in Tyson's sweater compared to Tyson in that sweater.

Tyson (6 weeks) look how far that sweater covers him!!
Okay so that was a lot of favorites... but did you really expect any less out of me!? :) Love my cutie.

Weekend Fun

The past weekend was a blast! It was very exciting for many reasons.
First, Leesville football is in the state playoffs and they beat Broughton 62-21! That means that this week we play Wake Forest Rolesville, who we beat for the conference title a couple of weeks ago, hopefully we can do it again!
A cinnamon roll cake I made on Friday night to take to tailgate

Trey's parents came to town to join my family on Saturday for the NCSU vs UNC game! It was a great day hanging out with a lot of family and friends. My dad's sister's family are huge UNC fans so they got tickets and tailgated with us before the game. We also had quite a few friends join us. I had a surprise visit from one of my best friends, my college roommate, Allison who lives in New York now. She showed up at our tailgate! Her dad had a flight voucher so she just hopped down to NC for the weekend.  Then to top the day off, NC STATE BEAT UNC! 13-0! woohoo. It was a great day.

At the end of the game!

The red & white basketball game right after the football game!

Tired after a long day

Sunday I picked up Allison and we went to Brenna's parents house to see baby Cora. Brenna's sister, Amy, just had a precious baby girl. She was due 11/11/11 but came early due to high blood pressure and was born on October 29th. She was just over a week old when we saw her and still about 6.5 lbs! She is so tiny and precious. It was also the first time that their dogs met her and it was too cute to see them try to figure out what she was.
Layla very curious about the baby!

Sleeping beauty... Cora

Of course the weekend was finished by snuggling with my hubby and dogs on the couch :)

More Wedding Fun

We are definitely at the stage in life where a lot of our friends are getting married, so we get to enjoy going to weddings pretty often these days!

Last weekend we headed to Williamston for the wedding of a friend that I work with. Quite a few of us from work went and it was a great crowd, we had a wonderful time! It had been a rainy Friday and Saturday morning, but mother nature decided to be a little nicer to them than she was to us :) The rain stopped probably mid-day Saturday so the outside wedding was still on! They got married on the water front at Moratoc Park (on the Roanoke River). It was pretty chilly outside but we all wore our coats and were fine. It was very pretty and one of the quickest ceremonies I've been to - yay we got to go back in and be warm quickly!

Married!

Brr let's get inside!
The reception was in the building at the park. It was a very antique looking wooden building. It was a pretty cool setting. Although, this was also Halloween weekend and it also seemed like it could very likely be the scene of a horror movie ;) But it wasn't! And we all had a wonderful time. They had a buffett with bar-be-que, chicken, corn, green beans, potatoes, cole slaw... it was delicious. I wanted to go back for seconds of corn but figured I shouldn't look like a heffer.

Super dark but all Leesville teachers!

Me & the hubs

Us being silly w/ my friend Jennifer

The centerpieces were mason jars with sand and a candle, well we turned one into a large beer mug
After things at the reception died down we all went back to the hotel that a few of our friends were staying at and continued the party there. Trey had to work the next morning so we had to drive back to Raleigh that night, so I drove and he slept :) But I guess that's only fair because he had to get up super early the next day.

It was a great night and we are super happy for Connie & Andy!

Fall Randoms

Just thought I would share a few random pictures of things going on this fall.
